The much awaited IND vs AUS test series i.e
Border-Gavaskar trophy 2023 is scheduled to be commenced on Thursday 9th
February. The contest between these two teams are always fascinating to watch.
This tournament was started in 1996 and the series is named after two
successful cricketing legends, Sunil Gavaskar from India and Allan Border from
Australia.
Venue and timming-
There will be four test matches in between 9th
February to 13th March 2023. Four venues where the matches will take
place are Vidarbha Cricket Stadium in Maharastra, Arun Jaitley stadium in new Delhi,
HPCA stadium in Dharmasala, and Narendra Modi stadium in Gujrat.
World test Championship
This series will be a deciding factor for India whether they can reach the finals of the World test championship since both the teams are currently in first and second position respectively. With India winning the series with a big margin of 4-0 3-0 or 3-1 against Australia will send them in the finals of the test championship.
